In an alleged case of medical negligence, an internal committee has been constituted to investigate the complaint of a woman who alleged that a senior gynaecologist left forceps in her stomach after her cesarean delivery at a government hospital at Eluru in Andhra Pradesh.
Nearly three months after the doctors left the artery forceps, the incident came to light when a scan was done at Vijayawada Government Hospital, where the woman was referred to after she complained of persistent pain.
