HC directs medical colleges to release original certificates of transferred MBBS students, prohibits withholding over pending fees

Observing that a medical college has no legal right to retain the original certificates of the medical students, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed the White Medical College and Hospital, Mohali, to immediately release all the original documents of the students.
The students approached the High Court bench when the medical college retained the original documents of the students, despite their reallocation and transfer to other medical colleges.
