India sees 20 percent jump in COVID cases

5,335 new coronavirus cases recorded in the last 24 hours in India, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. COVID update for today marks a 20 percent rise compared to yesterday’s reported cases of COVID-19.

The active caseload of COVID-19 in the country currently stands at 25,587. The daily positivity rate is 3.32 percent, and Weekly Positivity Rate is 2.89 percent.
