The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has issued a public advisory cautioning students and parents against fraudulent claims by individuals allegedly promising admission to its academic programmes through unofficial channels.

The institute clarified that admissions to all its courses are carried out strictly through a transparent, merit-based process in accordance with prescribed regulations.
