Measles-Rubella vaccination drive extended till March 15
Thanjavur: The measles-rubella vaccination drive for children has been extended till March 15 in this district, a top official said.
In the district, so far a total of 3,04,000 children in the age group of nine months to 15 years had been vaccinated, District Collector A Annadurai said in a release. Announcing the extension of the driver till March 15, he said the public can utilise the opportunity and get their children vaccinated in nearby primary health centres, government hospitals, and medical college hospitals.
He appealed to the people to extend cooperation to the government which wants to eradicate measles Rubella.
