Medical apathy- Woman forced to deliver baby on road

Udaipur: In a case of medical apathy, a woman had to deliver baby on road in Rajasthan's Udaipur. Family alleged that ambulance did not reach on time and they had to take the pregnant woman on a motorbike, as a result, she delivered baby on the road. Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Udaipur Sanjiv Tak said, "They couldn't call ambulance on time due to network issue.


She was in labour and delivered on the road. Condition of mother and new-born is stable".
