DNB PD in Ophthalmology also known as DNB Post Diploma in Ophthalmology is a Postgraduate level course for doctors in India that is done by them after completion of their postgraduate medical diploma. The duration of this postgraduate course is 2 years, and it focuses on the research of different ideas related to the identification, management, and avoidance of all eye disorders.
The course is a full-time course pursued at various recognized accredited institutions/hospitals across the country.
Admission to this course is done through the DNB-PDCET ranking examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), followed by counselling based on the scores of the exam that is conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences for allotment of DNB Post Diploma seat.
The fee for pursuing DNB-PD in Ophthalmology (DOMS) is Rs.1,25,000 per year.
