Puducherry: Dr S Mohan Kumar, the second senior most officer in the Health Department, Puducherry has taken charge as the Mission Director of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and Nodal Officer for Ayushman Bharat.
According to a release from Raj Nivas, on joining the duty, he made a courtesy call on Lt Governor Dr Kiran Bedi, at Raj Nivas on Wednesday and recalled that he had been specially posted to implement the flagship programmes of Union government's NRHM and Ayushman Bharat scheme.
