Mumbai Flooding: Hospitals under water
Mumbai: It's the rainy season in Maharashtra, and the financial capital seems has once against become partially submerged. Heavy incessant rains have Mumbai and adjoining Navi Mumbai and Thane regions, have brought the city to a standstill, delaying transport and completely submerging the water-logged roads in low-lying areas.
Water-logging was reported in low-lying areas of Parel and Sion. One of the worst hits in the area have been the government hospitals, whose services at the ground floor buildings including OPD and rooms being filled with water, forcing hospital officials to shift patients elsewhere.
