Mysuru: Not 1 case of Malaria reported since last 2 years
Mysuru: Not even a single case of Malaria has been reported or detected in Mysuru district since last two years and efforts are on to ensure total eradication by 2020.

The awareness drive was conducted not only in the city but also across the District and all the PHCs and other Health Centres in their respective jurisdiction conducted a door-to-door campaign to spread the message on means and measures to be free from Malaria.
The authorities had a formal inauguration of the World Malaria Day campaign at Rajendranagar as part of which Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) workers and Health Assistants went to more than 2,000 houses and created awareness about dos and don’t of Malaria, apart from distributing pamphlets.
