Narayana Health, C-CAMP and Axilor Ventures Join Hands to Promote Innovations in Healthcare; Launch "Healiate 2016" - a Directed Innovation Challenge Focused on Diabetes
Bangalore:Healthcare in India requires a significant fix. Lack of improvement in healthcare outcomes can rob the country of it. The healthcare system is in need of innovations that will solve the problems of affordable access, achieve break-through improvements, harness the potential of prevention or improve efficiency.
While there is tremendous need for innovation in healthcare, it is not attracting as many entrepreneurs or start-ups as other sectors. Narayana Health, C-CAMP (The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms) and Axilor Ventures have joined hands to create a ''virtual platform’ to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare. The platform will enable entrepreneurs and start-ups to seek technical and business advice, access research and clinical resources, raise funding and be part of a growing community of healthcare entrepreneurs.
