NBCC bags AIIMS construction Project in HP

New Delhi: Navratna CPSE NBCC (India) has bagged a prestigious project for planning, designing & construction of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Kothipara in Bilaspur District of Himachal Pradesh worth Rs 1138 crore.


The Project has been awarded to NBCC by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY).


Spread over 205 acres, the proposed institution will have a hospital with the capacity of 750 beds and ICU (Specialty & Super Specialty) beds.


In addition, there will an institutional block catering to around 100 MBBS students and 60 nursing students apart from an Administration Block, AYUSH Block, Auditorium, Night Shelter, Guest House, Hostels and Residential facilities which will be equipped with modern amenities.


NBCC has been a prime mover in Health Infrastructure sector of the country and has been undertaking several significant projects such as ESIC Hospitals, Medical Colleges & Hospitals of various State Governments across the country.
