Ghaziabad: 4 people have been reported dead after an audi rammed head on into an to an auto-rickshaw in the Indrapuram, Ghaziabad area.

All the four occupants of the died on the spot after the head on collision with the car. Among those who died were software engineer Rinky Yadav, a 38-year-old from Kanpur who lived in Noida and worked with HCL and two of her family friends, Yajuvendra Singh (40) and Vishal Singh (25), also from Kanpur. Vishal was in Noida for a job interview and had recently got engaged. He and Yajuvendra were cousins. Sanjiv, the driver of the auto who also died, has a three-year-old daughter and a wife who is seven months' pregnant reports TOI

While the car's occupants fled from the spot, police has revealed that the car has been registered in the name of a neurosurgeon Dr Manish Rawat who is reported to be an Associate Professor at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. It's not yet clear if the doctor was the one who was driving the car or not. There was a book  on 'Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation' was found lying on the car's back seat adds TOI. India Today also adds that alcohol bottles were also recovered from the vehicle

The doctor's whereabouts are currently unknown. The police is still on the lookout for him as his current residence is locked and hospital authorities are not aware of his whereabouts.

An FIR had been filed at the Indirapuram police station. "We are on the lookout for the owner of the vehicle. A case has been filed under Section 307, 279 and 427", said station house officer PK Tripati told India Todayw.
