NEIGRIHMS signs MoU with Meghalaya on health insurance
Shillong: Super-specialty North East Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) to roll out health insurance scheme in the hospital.
The MOU for the implementation of Phase III of Meghalaya Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) was signed between NEIGHRIHMS, New India Assurance Co Ltd, and Medicare TPA. Following the signing of the MOU, beneficiaries enrolled under MHIS Phase III can now show their MHIS smart card at NEIGHRIHMS and avail the benefits under the scheme. NEIGRIHMS Director Prof (Dr.) D M Thappa said it is the moment of pleasure for the administration of NEIGRIHMS that MHIS has now become a reality for the patients who visit NEIGRIHMS.
