These were the Inspirational words spoken by Dr Yash Gulati, Senior Consultant at Apollo Hospital, when asked about the his guiding principal of life.


Dr Yash Gulati has been conferred for the prestigious Dr BC Roy Award by the Medical Council of India (MCI) for the year 2016.


Dr Gulati is a Specialist in Joint Replacement and Spine Surgery, practicing in the capital. He is known for popularizing Gyroscope base Pinless Navigation for Knee Replacement in India.An orthopedic surgeon, popular in both India and abroad, he has operated on former Prime Minister of India, treated former Presidents of India. An avid sports lover himself, he has provided medical cover for all the Cricket Test Matches & one day matches held in Delhi over last 15 years free of change and operated on many cricketers including a former Indian Captain.He has also acted as an Honorary Consultant to Indian Armed Forces and Border Security Forces.


Dr Yash Gulati did his MBBS & MS Orthopedics from Maulana Azad Medical College followed by an Mch (Orthopedics) from University of Liverpool, England and Dip. Sports Medicine from Royal College of Surgeon, Dublin Ireland. He has received training in India, England & Republic of Ireland and has done fellowships in many countries. In the past, he headed orthopedic unit at Dr. RML Hospital and worked in various hospitals in England & Ireland. He has contributed many publications on his subject.


This is not the first time Dr Gulati has been awarded for his contribution and achievements in his concerned specialty. In Year 2009, Dr Gulati was conferred with Padma Shri Award by Shrimati Pratibha Patil, former President of India.
