1247 seats available for Round 2 DNB Post Diploma counselling, Check out NBE seat matrix

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the Indicative Seat Matrix for Round 2 admissions to the DNB Post Diploma courses 2022 Admission Session.

According to the seat matrix, a total of 1247 seats are available for DNB Post Diploma candidates.

The maximum number of seats are in the speciality of Anaesthesiology with 387 seats, followed by Orthopaedics with 177 and Paediatrics and Radiodiagnosis with 171 seats each.

The Centralized Online Merit Based counseling for admission to DNB (Post Diploma) 2022 Admission Session shall be conducted by NBEMS as per the schedule given below

Further, Mop-up round of this Counseling shall depend on the number of vacant seats after the completion of 3rd round of Counseling. The decision to conduct any further round is purely discretionary and the decision of the NBEMS in this regard shall be final and binding.

Registration & filling of choices has to be done through website (counseling.nbe.edu.in). Candidates are advised to fill their preferences/choices of seats carefully and Lock and Confirm them so that the same are considered by the System. If there is INACTION i.e. the candidate does not Lock and Confirm the preferences/choices of seats, the System will not accept the choices of seats and the candidate will not be allotted any seat.

Registered candidates who have been allotted with a seat in the First round of counseling allotment and Freeze the same by paying first year course fee, will not be allowed to participate in subsequent rounds of counseling.

Candidates may note that the allotment of seat in the counseling is subject to the candidates being eligible in all respects and verification of their original documents at the time of joining the allotted institute.

Candidate allotted with a seat during the counseling process is required to deposit One-year non-refundable Course Fee of ₹1,25,000/- [excluding payment gateway charges] to CONFIRM and FREEZE the allotment of seat.
