Who can appear for mop-up round?

As per the decision of MoHFW, the eligibility criteria for NEET SS 2022 admissions has recently been reduced from 50 percentile to 20 percentile. This move came in the backdrop of over 1000 super speciality seats being vacant after the completion of the two counselling rounds.

With this, the Candidates who have scored 20 percentile and above in the NEET-Super Speciality (SS) will be eligible to participate in the "special mop-up round".

“There will be a reduction in percentile for Super Specialty counseling for the academic year 2022, and all candidates above the 20th percentile will be eligible for SS counseling (for D.M/ M.Ch/ DNB SS Courses) in compliance with the directions of competent authority. Hence, a special mop-up round will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS in compliance with the directions of MoHFW as per the schedule uploaded on the MCC website,” states the mop-up round eligibility criteria published by the MCC.
