5250 MBBS seats available in UP Private medical colleges this year, details

Lucknow: The Director General of Medical and Education Training in Uttar Pradesh (UP DGME) has released the list of seats for MBBS course in private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh for this academic session of 2023-24. 

The release of this comprehensive seat allocation chart underscores a total of 5250 MBBS seats across various private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. It's important to note that the number of seats in each college may be subject to change.

First on the list is the Career Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow which has an overall 150 seats for their MBBS course. The institute also provides a Minority quota, for which the institute has 75 seats. For the open category, the college offers 75 seats as well.  The Institute has a 24-hour hospital with over 600 beds and the most sophisticated facilities for patient treatment, teaching, training, and research.

Era's Lucknow Medical College, Lucknow has 150 seats for their MBBS course.  For the open category, there are 75 seats. A Minority quota is also provided by the college which counts for 75 seats. The college is approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of India (MoHFW) and the NMC erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI). Era’s Lucknow Medical College has an affiliated Hospital equipped with 850 beds complete with all facilities and Advanced Technology.

Teerthankar Mahaveer Medical College and Research Centre, Moradabad has 150  seats for their MBBS course. There are 75 seats available in the open category. The college also provides a quota for minorities, which accounts for 75 seats.  The college is approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The college is backed by a hospital and offers medical services ranging from radiology to allied health disciplines. The college offers medical science undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programmes.

F. H. Medical College, Agra has 150  seats for their MBBS course. There are 75 available seats in the open category. The college also provides a minority quota of 75 seats. FH Medical College is a private affiliated medical college under Dr BR Ambedkar University, Agra.  It is approved by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Govt. of India & NMC. 

Integral Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Lucknow is offering 150 seats for their MBBS course. There are 75 seats available in the open category. The college also provides a quota for minorities, which accounts for 75 seats. The institute is a minority institute run by the Islamic Council of Productive Education and hence has a minority quota. The college is also approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Subharti Medical College, Meerut has 200 seats for their MBBS course. There are 100 available seats in the open category. The college also provides a minority quota of 100 seats. Subharti  Medical College is a private affiliated medical college under Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. The college is also approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Following in sequence, Sri Rammurti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly has 150 seats for their MBBS course. The institute is supported by a hospital that has 600 teaching beds for teaching and training students pursuing their MBBS Programme. The institution is a private medical institution associated with M J P Rohilkhand University. 

Muzzafnagar Medical College, Muzzafarnagar has 200 seats available for its MBBS programme. It is approved by the Medical Council of India & Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Govt. of India. The college is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.

Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, Bareilly has 250 seats for its MBBS programme. The NMC and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, have both given their approval to the institute. The college is a private medical institution associated with Bareilly International University, Bareilly.

Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Kanpur has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. It is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre is a private affiliated medical college under Dr B R Ambedkar University, Agra, U.P.

Saraswati Institute of Medical Sciences, Hapur has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. The institute is recognized by the Medical Council of India. Saraswati Institute of Medical Sciences is affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh (CCS) University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

The Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki has 100 seats for its MBBS programme. The Affiliated to Dr. R.M.L. Avadh University, Faizabad. & Recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

 the School of Medical Science (Sharda University), Greater Noida has 250 seats for its MBBS programme. The College is affiliated with Sharda University, Greater Noida and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Rama Medical College and Research Centre, Hapur has 250 seats for its MBBS programme. The College is affiliated with Dr B R Ambedkar University, Agra, U.P and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Rajshree Medical Research Institute, Bareilly has 250 seats for its MBBS programme.  The College is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow and M.J.P.U, Bareilly and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi has 200 seats for its MBBS programme. The College is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi and approved by the Government of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Following that,  Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Sitapur has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. The College is affiliated to CSJM, KANPUR. & recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

T.S Mishra Medical College and Hospital, Lucknow has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. The college is approved by the Medical Council of India and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The college provides comprehensive facilities for teaching, research and patient care.

Prasad Institute of Medical Science, Lucknow has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. The College is affiliated to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad & recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

The Mayo Institute of Medical Science, Barabanki has 250 seats for its MBBS programme. It is an 1192-bed NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers)Accredited hospital. The College is affiliated to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad & recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Krishan Mohan Medical College and Hospital, Mathura has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. It is a 700-bed hospital. The College is affiliated to affiliated with Dr B R Ambedkar University, Agra, U.P. & recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Saraswati Medical College, Unnao has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. The College is affiliated to affiliated with CSJM University Kanpur & recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

KD Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Mathura has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. It is a 720-bed hospital. The College is affiliated to affiliated with Dr B R Ambedkar University, Agra, U.P. & recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

GS Medical College, Hapur has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. GS Medical College & Hospital has been permitted by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow.

Shri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Gajraula, Amroha  150 seats for its MBBS programme.VIMS has the advantage of 750 teaching beds that offer practical training to the students during their internship making complete digital and comprehensive learning. The institute is presently affiliated to the Shri Venkateshwara University and is recognized by the MCI.

Varunarjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, Shahjahanpur 150 seats for its MBBS programme. The college has the advantage of 720  teaching beds that offer practical training to the students. The college is also recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India and affiliated to Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University.

the National Capital Region Institute of Medical Science, Meerut 150 seats for its MBBS programme. It is approved by the Medical Council of India & Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Govt. of India. The college is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.

Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences, Gautam Budh Nagar has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. NIIMS encompasses state of art medical facilities in line with the revised curriculum of the National Medical Commission(NMC) and affiliated Noida International University.

Following that, United Institute of Medical Sciences, Prayagraj has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. The College is affiliated with Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, Prayagraj and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Naraina Medical College, Kanpur has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. It is owned by owned Naraina Group of Institutions of Kanpur. The College is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

SKS Medical College, Mathura has 150 seats for its MBBS programme. SKS Hospital Medical College and Research Centre is approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of AYUSH (Govt. of India) NMC, NCISM, & CCIM, New Delhi and affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University Lucknow and MGGAU Gorakhpur.

Overall there are 5250 seats available in Uttar Pradesh, It can be noted that the number of seats in each college may increase or decrease.
