AIIMS Declares Eligible Candidates List For MD, MS, MDS, Fellowship Program May 2023 Professional Exams

Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) has declared the eligible candidate list for MD/MS/ MDS/ Fellowship Program May 2023 professional examinations.

The list consists of Course, Specialty, Enrollment No, and Name of the Candidate. 264 candidates are there on the list. To view the list, click on the link below -

If there is any correction in the Name and Enrolment Number of the candidate, don't hesitate to contact the Academic Section, AIIMS, New Delhi, by 31.03.2023.

Per the notice, the theory exams for MD/MS/MDS are scheduled for 01.05.2023, 03.05.2023, 10.05.2023, and 12.05.2023 from 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The exams will be held at Examination Section First Floor Convergence Block AIIMS, New Delhi. The practical/clinical /viva-voce exam is tentative to be held between 15.5.2023 to 22.5.2023. The concerned depart will fix the date and time of the exam.

For Fellowship Program, there will be no theory exams. The practical/clinical /viva-voce exam is tentatively scheduled between 12.5.2023 to 19.5.2023. The concerned depart will fix the date and time of the exam.

An Act of Parliament in 1956 established the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as an autonomous institution of national importance and defined its objectives and functions. The Institute grants its medical degrees and other academic distinctions by virtue of this Act. The degrees granted by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized medical qualifications for the Indian Medical Council Act and, notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be included in the first schedule of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognized Universities of India.

Objectives of AIIMS -

1. To develop a pattern of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches to demonstrate the high standard of medical education to all medical colleges and other allied institutions in India.

2. To bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of the personnel in all important branches of the health activity.

3. To attain self-sufficiency in postgraduate medical education.
