West Bengal: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Kalyani) has released the schedule for interview for PDCC courses along with the eligible and non-eligible list of candidates.

As per the notice, provisionally eligible applicants can submit required documents by email to academics.recruitment@aiimskalyani.edu.in up to 25.12.2023 (5 pm). After this, no representation would be entertained. The interview will be on 26.12.2023 (offline) from 9 am on the Ground Floor, Administrative Block, AIIMS Kalyani.

A total of 4 candidates are found eligible, and 2 candidates are found in-eligible for PDCC courses. The detailed lists of candidates are enclosed in the notice below.

The candidates are found eligible for the following courses –

1. Head and Neck Surgery

2. Neuroanaesthesia

3. Pediatric Allergy

4. Molecular and Biochemical Genetics

Selected candidates must join within 15 days of the commencement of the session, and in case of non-response, the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list. If the seats are unfilled by 31st January in the January session, the seat will be lapsed.

The selected candidates will have a three-monthly formative evaluation (at 3, 6 and 9 months), which will consist of both the practical and theoretical components. The total formative assessment will be 200 marks (100 for theory and 100 for practicals). Each course will have a summative practical and theory assessment. This assessment will be performed by at least two internal and two external examiners. The total summative assessment will be 200 marks (100 for theory and 100 for practicals).

The final assessment will be made on the basis of combined scores of formative and summative assessments in theory and practicals. Candidates will be declared successful in the course only after securing at least 50% marks. Theory and practicals need to be separately passed.
