AIIMS Patna Announces Online Application Guidelines and Important Dates for Electives of MBBS 2020 Batch

Patna- The notice from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna, provides online application guidelines and important dates for electives for the MBBS 2020 batch. 

Applicants are required to complete the online applications via the SMS portal by using their enrollment number along with the provided password. During the application process, candidates should initially access the SMS portal, proceed to student login, navigate to electives, and finally, submit their elective choices.

After filling up the application, students are advised to check their pre-filled details on the online application for Electives, such as Name, Roll No., Enrollment No., Contact No., Email ID, Date of Birth and Accumulative % of 3rd Prof. Part-I. If there is any discrepancy in the information, it should be informed at the link mentioned in the circular before submitting the online application for the elective.

When filling out the online application for electives, students are advised to re-arrange all modules available for electives in order of preference using the drag-and-drop feature.

The allotment of Departments/Modules for alternative posting will be based on the marks obtained in the 3rd Prof Part-I Examination. In case, if the students have the same percentage in the 3rd Prof. Part-I Exam, priority will be given to the student with an earlier date of birth.

For any inquiries related to online elective applications, students can reach out to the Dean (Academics) via the provided email address. On the other hand, for questions regarding elective modules, students can contact the Department of Medical Education through email or get in touch with the respective Nodal Officers/Preceptors.

The notice includes an attachment containing the details of nodal officers/preceptors, such as their names, designations, departments, and email IDs.
