AIIMS Patna informs on Spot counselling for DM, MCh seats

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna has informed about the spot counselling for DM, MCh seats.

The notice clearly states:

 Institute level SPOT ROUND counselling is scheduled on 31-08-2020 at AIIMS Patna campus for filling up the Postgraduate DM/M.Ch seats at AIIMS Patna for the July 2020 session which remained vacant after the 2nd round counselling at AIIMS New Delhi.

The number of seats and subject may change and the same will be displayed at AIIMS Patna website www.aiiimspatna.org as and when there is any change in the seat position. The final position of the vacant seat at AIIMS Patna available for spot round counselling will be displayed at 02:00 pm on 29th August 2020. Hence the interested are advised to regularly visit the AIIMS Patna website for updates.

Eligibility for appearing in Spot Round Counselling: Candidates having 50th Percentile or above in the PG Entrance Examination conducted by AIIMS Delhi for seven AIIMS, held on Thursday, the 11.06.2020 will be eligible to participate in this session irrespective of their rank in the entrance examination provided they are not holding any PG seat anywhere in the country. A candidate desirous of seeking admission in the spot counselling should compulsory register by clicking on the given link http://www.aiimspatna.org/public/spotcouncelinegdmmch.php by 10:00 pm on 30.08.2020.

4. The eligible candidates desirous of participation in spot counselling shall report in person to the Dean Office located at the Ground Floor of Medical Institute building/Admin. The building of AIIMS Patna latest by 10:00 am on 31' August 2020 with the following ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS and one set of self-attested photocopies:

a) Admit card issued by the AIIMS Delhi

b) 10th Class mark sheet/certificate bearing date of birth

e) MBBS mark sheet of all professional examination

d) MBBS Degree certificate/ Provisional Certificate

e) Internship Completion Certificate

1) MD/MS Mark sheet

g) MD/MD Degree/ Provisional Certificate

h) Medical Council Registration Certificate

i) Category certificate in the Ventral Government prescribed format, if applicable

Note: 1. Failure to bring original documents will render the candidate non-eligible to participate in the spot round of counselling.

2. The Candidate Selected in Spot Counselling on 31' August 2020 has to join the department after completing all the formalities on the same date i.e. 31st August 2020 by 5:00 pm.

3. The candidates appearing for spot counselling are advised to prepare with all original documents/baggage such that they can join the course/institute from 31st August 2020.
