New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the Information Brochure for Open Round of Online Seat Allocation (AIIMS and Subject/Speciality) Process For [MD/MS/DM(6years)/MCh(6years)/MDS] July 2020 Session.

All the details of the released information brochure are mentioned below:

Under the evolving situation due to COVID-19 outbreak, Open Round of Seat Allocation will be done in online mode only in place of the physical mode of seat allocation. All candidates are advised to see the website, Email, SMS on a regular basis.

Please note that the procedures for seat allocation for July 2020 session are different from procedures followed in previous sessions of Open Round of seat allocation.

Eligibility

Minimum cut-off marks: Candidates who have secured Percentile 50 or above in the PG Entrance Examination for July 2020 session held on Thursday, the 11th June 2020 will be eligible to participate in the Open Round of Online Seat Allocation and may register for Open Round of Online Seat Allocation.

All the candidates who are willing to participate in Open Round of Online Seat Allocation are mandatory required to deposit original certificates/Demand Draft or RTGS / NEFT of Rs.3.00 Lakh by 5 pm on 17.08.2020.

The candidate will be considered as eligible for seat allocation only after completing the following procedure:

1) Depositing original certificate at any eight AIIMS (New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh) by date as mentioned above.

OR

2) Payment of Rs.3.00 lakh through demand draft OR RTGS / NEFT by date as mentioned above.

Those candidates who have submitted original certificate at any of eight AIIMS OR deposited Rs.3.00 Lakh by DD or NEFT/RTGS before the due date as specified in the schedule, shall be considered only for seat allocation for Open Round.

All candidate who have registered for online Open Round of Seat Allocation are required to complete all necessary formalities and exercising choices till 17.08.2020 (05:00 pm). After final submission/closing date and time, no changes in the choice of order of preference will be allowed.

Please do not wait till the last minute and complete all formalities by 17.08.2020 by 5:00 pm.

Vacant Seat Position

. The details of tentative vacancy in different subject/speciality after allotment in 1st/2nd/3rd round of online seat Allocation for July 2020 session will be available on website i.e. www.aiimsexam.org. on 5th August 2020.

. Further tentative vacancy after closing date of 3rd Round of online seat allocation will also be published on 10.08.2020.

. The final vacant seat position in all subject/speciality will be displayed on website www.aiimsexams.org by 5:00 PM on 14.08.2020.


Candidates will be allowed to fill choices for any Subject/Speciality for which there was any seat published before 1st round of counselling irrespective of published vacancy of Open Round, as during allotment for Open Round vacancy in any Subject/Speciality may arise.

Online Registration & Submission of Application Form

The candidate may register for online Open Round of Seat Allocation latest by 05:00 pm on Monday, the 10th August 2020 on www.aiimsexams.org

1. To Register go to www.aiimsexams.org

2. Select your desired course "[MD/MS.(M.Ch.(6yrs.)/DM(6yrs.)]" / "MDS" under "Academic Courses" tab and then click on the "Registration/Login" under General Links to proceed further to register.

3. Enter your Registration ID and Password to log in.

4. On "My Page" click on "Register for online Open Round of Seat Allocation" link.

5. Opt for choice to register for online Open Round of Seat Allocation.

6. OBC(NCL)/EWS Candidates:

All OBC/EWS candidate participating in online Open Round of Seat Allocation are required to upload valid cast certificate as per Important Notice No.75/2020 dated 14.06.2020 during online registration.

· The OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates are requested to upload their valid certificate during the online registration for Open Round of Seat Allocation. No need to upload if you have already uploaded valid OBC (NCL)/EWS certificate issued between 05.04.2019 to 11.06.2020 (both date inclusive).

· If you don't have any valid certificate, please click on available tab for appearing as a General Candidates (UR) during the online open round of seat allocation for admission to AIIMS PG courses for July 2020 session.

· The verification of OBC/EWS certificates shall be done prior to the allotment of subject in online seat allocation / counselling on the basis of certificate uploaded during online registration.

· Those candidates, who are found not eligible for OBC/EWS seat on the basis of verification of respective certificates, shall be treated as UR. The seat will be allotted in order of merit. The status of OBC/EWS will be informed through email sent on registered email id only.

7. Fill the following mandatory details before exercising choices:

  • Submitted Original Certificate at AIIMS_dated_Receipt No._

    OR

    Deposited Demand Draft (in favour of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi):

    DD No. _ Dated_Amount Rs.3 Lakh at AIIMS_dated

    OR

    Payment Through NEFT/RTGS (Transaction detail)

    UTR No._Date_Bank_for Rs.3 Lakh

    (see the additional method of payment)

    Note: - No other mode then above will be considered

8. All candidates shall be required to make choices of subject/speciality in order of preference. The allocation of subject/speciality shall be made online, on the basis of overall merit order and order of preference (fill on or before 17.08.2020 by 05:00 pm). The candidates can make any number of choices, can edit the choices and reorder the choices.

Candidates will be allowed to fill choices for any Subject/Speciality for which there was any seat published before 1st round of counselling irrespective of published vacancy of Open Round, as during allotment for Open Round vacancy in any Subject/Speciality may arise.

9. After 5 pm on last date 17.08.2020, no change in choices or order of preference will be allowed and all future allotment/offer will be made on the basis of filled in choices and order of preference.

10. Take a printout of Registration Slip after final submit by "Lock & Submitted".

11. Produce printout of the Registration slip at the time of joining along with all original certificates and one set of Photocopy of certificates. (further details will be available in the result notification of online Open Round of Seat Allocation)

12. Candidates availing constitutional reservation must show valid proof of their claim for a reserved seat at allocated AIIMS when they are depositing original certificates. In case they do not possess a valid certificate then their claim for the reserved seat allocated will be nullified. The OBC/EWS certificate must be valid for admission in Central Govt. Institution. The OBC (NCL)/EWS certificate issued between 05.04.2019 to 11.06.2020 (both date inclusive) shall be treated as valid.

13. All Certificates including a claim for constitutional reservation will be subjected to verification. Candidature can be cancelled at any stage further if any of the documents is found to be invalid.

14. The verification of OBC/EWS certificates shall be done prior to the allotment of the subject in online seat allocation / counselling on the basis of certificate uploaded during online registration.

15. Those candidates, who are found not eligible for OBC/EWS seat on the basis of verification of respective certificates before seat allocation of Open Round, shall be treated as UR. The seat will be allotted in order of merit. The status of OBC/EWS will be informed through registered email id.

16. Candidates availing PWBD horizontal reservation in the online seat allocation / counselling must show valid proof of their claim for a reserved seat at allocated AIIMS when they are depositing original certificates. In case they do not possess a valid certificate then their claim for the reserved seat allocated in online seat allocation / counselling will be nullified.

17. Any seat of July 2020 session falling vacant because of resignation (after joining) till 14.08.2020 by 01:00 pm shall be included.

19. An additional method of Payment:

The candidates who wish to make online payments instead of depositing Demand Draft, the following procedure is to be followed:

20. All disputes pertaining to the conduct of the examination by AIIMS and online seat allocation will be subject to the jurisdiction of the High Court of Delhi only.
