Venue for Reporting: Lecture Theatre - 5, Ground Floor, Medical College Building, Gate No. 5, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur.

These instructions are only for the candidates who will be/are allotted to AIIMS Raipur for admission to the MBBS course by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), DGHS for the year 2023.

The students must read the instructions provided by MCC regarding the process of reporting and taking admission. As per the schedule of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), the candidates who are allotted AIIMS, Raipur are required to report to AIIMS Raipur, to complete the admission formalities.

All the candidates are instructed to read the Prospectus of MBBS 2023 available at https://docs.aiimsexams.edu.in/sites/Prospectus_1.pdf for eligibility criteria for admission to MBBS courses at AIIMS Raipur. Eligibility Criteria will be the same as per AIIMS New Delhi.

Eligibility -

Age: Candidates should be born before 1st January 2007 i.e. Candidates born on or after 1st January 2007 are NOT ELIGIBLE. Should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (Seventeen) years as of the 31st of December of the year of admission (2023).

Essential Academic Qualification -

Candidate should have passed 12th Class under 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) or an equivalent Examination of a recognized university/board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry,  and Biology as subject.

Candidates, who have appeared or appearing at the qualifying examinations with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subject and expect to pass the Examination with the required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidate will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.

Minimum Percentage/Marks –

The minimum aggregate of marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology obtained in qualifying examinations -

General (UR), OBC (NCL), EWS Candidates: 60%

SC/ST Candidates: 50%

PwBD Candidates: 45%

Those with CGPA grades only will have to apply the conversion factor in the application form. The conversion factor should be as approved by the respective examination board.

The Minimal Marks in essential qualifications for AIIMS are different from those prescribed by MCC for other Medical Colleges (See Information Bulletin and Counseling Scheme for NEET UG 2023 of the MCC).

Candidates should bring the following documents/certificates in original at the time of reporting along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all these documents/certificates -

Allotment Letter issued by MCC

Admit Card of Exam issued by NTA

NEET/NTA Scorecard - issued by NTA in Original

Certificate of having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examinations, showing the subjects offered by him/her in the Examination.

Certificate from the Board from which he/she passed the High School/Higher Secondary Examination, showing his/her date of birth.

Certificate/Marks sheet from the Board form which he/she passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination showing that he/she has secured 60% or more marks (50% in case SC/ST persons & 45% for a person with Benchmark Disability) in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Class 12th Migration Certificate or by University/Board last attended by the candidate.

Eight (8) Passport size photographs same as uploaded/affixed on the NEET UG 2023 application form.

Proof of Identity (Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License – Aadhar card is preferable) – Please carry a photocopy of identity proof.

Category Certificate (OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/EWS) as applicable should be issued as per format available at AIIMS prospectus.

SC/ST certificate issued by the competent authority. The community should be clearly mentioned.

OBC (NCL) Certificate should be issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the central list of OBC. OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. OBC (NCL) certificate must be in the prescribed format.

EWS certificate should be issued by the competent authority and must be in the prescribed format.

OBC (NCL)/EWS Certificates should be issued from 1st April 2022 (inclusive), and the start of reporting of Round-1 of MBBS counseling (i.e. 31.07.2023) notified by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for MBBS admission will be considered valid.

All the certificates should be either in English or in Hindi language only. In case the certificate is in a regional language, the candidate should carry an Attested translated copy of the certificate in English/Hindi.

Disability (PWBD) Certificate – Certificate from prescribed authority showing that he/she belongs to Persons with Benchmark Disability Category.

Any Other documents, if applicable

Relieving Letter (if upgraded in any round)

For those candidates who joined the MBBS course at AIIMS, Raipur, his/her all original certificate will be retained, and the same will not be returned to the candidate before completion of the course.

Fee -

The fee is to be deposited at the time of reporting/admission. A total ₹ 5,856 is to be paid at the time of reporting/admission by Cash/Debit/Credit cards only. The breakup of the fee to be paid is given below –

This fee is for the entire duration of the course (4 ½ years) and is charged on a one-time basis at the time of admission.

Fees for students taking admission under Central Pool Scheme (in $) -

The fee for self-financing/foreign national students and other similar cases allocated under the central pool scheme is US$ 75,000/- (divided in three equal installments of the pre-clinical phase, para-clinical phase, and clinical phase of the MBBS course.

Any seat allotted other than the All India Quota will be treated as a Central Pool Quota seat only.

Mess Fee: The mess fee will be as actual as decided by the Mess Contractor from time to time. Ordinarily, Mess fees are around ₹ 3000 - ₹ 3500 per month and are subject to revision from time to time.

The completion of admission formalities may take more than one day. Therefore, it is advisable to plan the travel accordingly. The academic session for MBBS - 2023 batch will start tentatively after 2nd round of counseling (Tentative date: 29th August 2023). Hostel allotment will be done during the 2nd round of counseling.

Hostel Allotment for candidates who confirmed their seat in the 1st Round (did not opt for upgradation) will be done on 20th to 22nd August 2023. For candidates, who do not get upgraded or allotted (fresh) in 2nd Round counseling, hostel allotment will be done during the 2nd round reporting (i.e. 20th to 28th August 2023) onwards or as per any changes in counseling schedule by MCC, DGHS).
