AIIMS Rishikesh invites applications to 12 DM, MCh seats, Check out eligibility criteria, exam pattern, all admission details here
Rishikesh: 10th June 2022, 5:00 pm is the last date for submitting the application form for DM, MCh admissions, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Rishikesh) has recently announced.
The duly filled-in application, along with necessary documents and application fee, should reach Examination Cell, AIIMS, Rishikesh (Uttarakhand)- 249203, through registered post/speed post. The application form is attached in the below links. The envelope should be super-scribed "APPLICATION FOR THE DM/M.Ch., JULY, 2022 SESSION."
The candidates will have to pay the following application fee online –
1.SC/ST/EWS - Rs. 1200/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
2.UR/OBC - Rs. 1500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
3. PWD - Exempted from any fee
As per AIIMS, on 15th June 2022, admit cards will be issued to the candidates. A tentative written test will be held online (CBT) mode / OMR on 28th June 2022. The result tentatively will be declared on 30th June 2022. On 7th July 2022 tentative departmental assessment is planned. The tentative final result will be declared on 11th July 2022.
Results for DM/M.Ch. will be only available on the website at www.aiimsrishikesh.edu.in. The result candidates will not be informed by telephone, and candidates are requested not to call the examination section for such information.

1. Date of Birth and Class X and XII Certificate.
2. Medical Council Registration.
3. Internship completion certificate.
4. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWBD certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable).
5. MBBS Mark-sheets.
6. MBBS Degree.
7. MD/MS/DNB Mark-sheets.
8. MD/MS/DNB Degree.
9. Attempt certificates.
10. Fee Receipt.
11. Copies of any other relevant documents.
The purpose of Post-Doctoral education -
1. In this field, the most important function of AIIMS is to provide opportunities to train teachers for medical colleges in the country in an atmosphere of research and development.
2. Students are exposed to newer teaching methods and given opportunities to participate in teaching exercises actively.
3. Another purpose is to bring together educational facilities of highest order for training personnel in all important branches of health activity and to attain self-sufficiency in postgraduate medical education.
4. Educational principles and practices being adopted are best suited to needs of nation.

12 seats are available for Post-Doctoral DM/M.Ch. M.Ch has 5 seats, and DM has 7 seats. M.Ch courses include Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery & Critical Care, and DM courses include Anesthesiology, General Medicine, and Pediatrics.
Candidates can submit applications for one subject only. The number and distribution of seats are subject to variation based on any periodic directives from the competent authority. If suitable candidates are not available in the sponsored seats, the same will not be carried forward to general seats in the respective specialty. As per the judgment of the Constitution Bench of Supreme Court of India Writ Petition WC No. 3501998, no reservations are being followed for the super specialty courses of DM/M.Ch./Fellowship/PhD at this institute.
AIIMS New Delhi is conducting the entrance examination for other seats of DM/M.Ch. at AIIMS Rishikesh. Candidates can refer to the website of AIIMS New Delhi www.aiimsexams.ac.in.

Fees or charges including hostel rent once paid shall not be refunded, and no correspondence will be entertained in this connection. Above fees are subject to revision from time to time by the institute, and students admitted shall have to pay fees as may be decided by institute.
