Amrita School of Medicine Holds 18th Graduation Ceremony, 98 MBBS students receive degree certificates
Chennai: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's School of Medicine recently held its 18th convocation ceremony at the Kochi campus, marking a momentous occasion for 98 future doctors.
The event, graced by the honorable Governor of Tamil Nadu, RN Ravi, was filled with pride and a sense of accomplishment as these future healthcare professionals received their well-deserved degrees.
Addressing the gathering, Governor R. N. Ravi emphasized the invaluable role doctors play in society and stressed the importance of serving with care, caution, and love. He commended the graduates for not only their academic achievements but also their dedication to caring for others.
During the ceremony, Governor Ravi, along with other dignitaries, presented graduation certificates to the students and awarded medals to outstanding achievers.
Several esteemed faculty members from the Amrita School of Medicine also shared their insights and words of encouragement with the graduating class. Dr. K. P. Girish Kumar, Principal of the school, Dr. S. Aswathy from the Community Medicine department, Dr. Shobha Nair from Gynaecology, Dr. Princy Lewis from Pharmacology, Dr. Chandrababu from Orthopaedics, and Dr. U. K. Ramakrishnan from Forensic Medicine were among those who addressed the audience.
The ceremony concluded with 98 students proudly receiving their graduation certificates, marking the beginning of their journey as qualified medical professionals.
