CPS Mumbai Issues notice for FCPS Students Who Have Applied Online Convocation Form In-Absentia
Maharashtra: College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai (CPS) has issued a notification for all FCPS students who have applied online convocation form in-absentia.
As per the notice, all FCPS students who have applied for in-absentia have to compulsorily come in person to CPS House Mumbai from 21st February 2023 onwards (during office hours) to collect their degree as these students need to sign in the declaration book.
The students must submit the notarized FCPS declaration form and 2 copies of their Aadhar Card while collecting the degree in person. The declaration form is enclosed in the notice below.
Further, the students must send the declaration to the CPS office in Mumbai. The last date to submit the declaration is 16th March 2023. The declaration is attached in the notice below.
The convocation ceremony was held on 17th February 2023 with a formal dress code, with no jeans/t-shirts, sleepers, or sports shoes. Mobiles are not allowed in the hall. The students were allowed to leave the hall until the end of the ceremony.
College of Physicians & Surgeons of Mumbai was established in 1912; it is an autonomous body imparting Postgraduate Medical Education and offers 10 Fellowship, 17 Diplomas, and 2 Certificate Courses. It is located in Mumbai near KEM Hospital and caters to doctors from all over India. The qualifications granted by CPS Mumbai allow the Practitioner to register themselves as specialists in the specialty concerned upon duly completing the tenure of 2 years Diploma or 3 years Fellowship and passing the exit examination prescribed.
