Tamil Nadu: This year for NEET MDS for management and government quota the Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) has 160 seats for candidates. The seat matrix has been released on the official website.

Eligibility criteria –

1. The candidate must either be an Indian citizen. An Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) is also eligible to apply for NEET MDS 2022.

2. The candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery or a provisional passing certificate in BDS from any Indian dental university/college recognized by the Government of India.

3. All candidates should have completed or been in the process of completing the one-year rotary internship or practical training on or before March 31, 2022. The candidates should possess the Permanent Medical Council Registration Certificate of the States or of India or the provisional Registration Certificate of the Medical Council at the time of Counselling.

4. The candidates who are claiming Nativity of Tamil Nadu should furnish their Certificates of Nativity of Tamil Nadu issued by the competent authority and supported by the following documents: A valid copy of Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, Voter's ID, Passport and Proof of Parent's Documents is Mandatory (Aadhar Card and School Certificates).

5. Candidates seeking admission to the MDS course, have to qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- NEET MDS 2022 conducted by the National Board of Examinations.
