DME Chhattisgarh Informs About Admission Process For BDS Stray Vacancy Round
The Director of Medical Education (DME Chhattisgarh) informed about the admission process for BDS stray vacancy round.

Allotment and admission process – 27.12.2022 -28.12.2022 (11:00 am to 5:00 pm)
Details issued –
1.The merit list issued for this round will only be valid.
2.The scrutiny and admission process will be carried out at the institute.
3.Candidates note that if they reach late for the allotment and admission process, they can take admission to the allotted seats based on the previous merit list.
4.The admission process must be completed within the given time frame.
5.Once the admission process is over, the colleges through mail cgdme.student@gmail.com till 11.59 pm on 28.12.2022. The soft copy has to be submitted by 30.12.2022 to the DME office.
6.If candidates not eligible for scrutiny and admission get admitted, then the institute will be responsible.
7.Private college-eligible candidates list will be displayed on the website.
Recently the mop-up round for BDS admission concluded. The last date for allotted candidates to join was 18.12.2022. The admission process for MBBS was carried out at Shri Balaji Medical College Raipur, Raipur Institute of Medical Science, Raipur, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Smriti Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya Raipur, and Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences Bhilai.
Eligibility criteria –
1.Candidates must be citizens of India.
2.Candidates must not be less than 17 years old on or before 31st December 2022.
3.Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as their core subjects.
4.Candidates must be NEET UG qualified.
The counseling process for BDS admission is carried out by DME only. The candidates should not fall prey to any institute or individual claiming admission. All the related details will be published on the website www.cgdme.in, so the candidates should follow it regularly.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is being conducted by NTA for admission to undergraduate medical education, with the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and MHRD. The Directorate of Medical Education conducts NEET UG counseling. The admissions are based on NEET UG. The seat allotment is done based on the choices filled by candidates, reservation, state merit rank, NEET UG marks, and other factors.
DME is the administrative body of Chhattisgarh and overlooks Medical Education in the State through Medical and Dental Colleges. It plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the health needs of the State. Research is another area of activity for the Medical Education Department.
