MCC allows NEET MDS Candidates to resign from Round 1, 2 allotted Seats, Details

New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has decided to allow the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) candidates to resign from their Round 1 and 2 seats with forfeiture of the security deposit.

Through a notice issued by the MCC in this regard, it has been informed that the authority has received many requests from the MDS candidates who want to resign their Round 1 and 2 seats due to various reasons.

Therefore, on this, the competent authority has decided to allow Resignation without forfeiture of the security deposit for such candidates. The candidates who desire to leave their Round-1 seat can do so from today, i.e. 28th July 2025, 02:00 PM, upto 31st July 2025, 12:00 noon of with forfeiture of Security Deposit.

" In this regard, the competent authority has decided to allow Resignation with forfeiture of security deposit for such candidates"- the notice read.

Meanwhile, candidates should take note that Resignation that the candidates will have to report physically to the allotted college to resign their seat. They are also advised to ensure that their Resignation Letter is generated online (through the portal provided by MCC) by the allotted college, failing which the resignation will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.
