MP NEET MDS Counselling: List Of Eligible Candidates For Round 2, Revised Merit List Released
Madhya Pradesh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Madhya Pradesh) declared the list of eligible candidates for the second round and revised the merit list after lowering of cutoff percentile for NEET MDS admission.

The merit list is released for the candidates registered for the counselling of NEET MDS and found to be eligible for it. Candidates included in this list are the only ones to participate in the counselling process. After the counselling process, seat allotment is done, which is done based on choices filled by the candidates and their position in the state merit list.
The NEET MDS admission counselling process is based on NEET MDS 2022. All the rounds of the counselling process will be carried out online. The 1st round of counselling was only for domicile state candidates or any candidate who will have an MBBS/BDS degree from any recognized medical/dental college in the state. After the 1st round of counselling, candidates outside the state can also apply. But these candidates will be allotted seats only when domicile candidates are not available on the merit list.
Eligibility criteria –
1. The candidates for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course must possess a recognized degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India, registered with the State Dental Council, and obtained provisional or permanent registration.
2. The candidates must have completed the compulsory rotatory internship on or before 31st March 2022.
NEET MDS is an entrance exam conducted by NBE to provide admissions to all the postgraduate dental courses offered by institutions in India. The exam is conducted annually. No other exam is valid for PG Dental admission across India.
The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. In addition, the directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental and paramedical colleges in the state.
Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that a total of 8823 seats are allocated for MBBS and BDS courses. MBBS course has 6243 seats, and the BDS course has 2580 seats. The seat matrix consists of government-autonomous medical college, government-autonomous medical college (state open quota seat), government-autonomous medical college class-wise distribution, private medical college, category/class-wise distribution in private medical college, private dental college, and category/class-wise distribution.
