NBE to hold Foreign Dental Screening Test FDST BDS 2026 on March at New Delhi Centre, Check details
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that the Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) for BDS, 2026 will be conducted on March 1, 2026, in a computer-based format at the New Delhi centre only, and no other city will host the exam for this session.
As per the official notice issued by the NBEMS in this regard, the screening test is mandatory for foreign dental graduates seeking registration to practice dentistry in India.
According to the schedule published in the notice, the Information Bulletin will be available from today, i.e. February 24, 2026.
"National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the FDST (BDS) 2026 on 01st March 2026 as a computer-based examination at the New Delhi centre only," the NBE notice read.

Earlier, the NBEMS announced the detailed schedule for the Online Centralised Merit-Based Counselling for admission to Sponsored Post MBBS DNB seats for the 2025 admission session. The counselling will be conducted in two rounds.
As per the schedule published in the official notice, the registration for the Counselling and Choice Filling process for the first round will start from February 26 2026. Following this, the Processing of Allotment will begin on March 3 2026. Thereafter, the allotment result will be published on March 6, 2026.
Meanwhile, the Choice Filling process for the second round will start from March 18 2026. Following this, the Processing of Allotment will be done from March 23. Thereafter, the result of the allotment will be published on March 26, 2026.
