Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) announced seat matrix and tentative round 1 NEET MDS counselling schedule for PG Dental courses 2022-23 for government medical colleges and self-financing medical colleges government quota.

Seat matrix –

A total of 164 seats are available for PG Dental courses 2022-23. Government colleges have 31 seats and the self-financing medical colleges government quota has 133 seats.

The counselling schedule will in online mode only. DME has requested the candidates to not to share their login-id and password. All candidates participating in online counselling for the MDS course will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs 1000 online as the processing fee should be remitted by using a Debit Card /Net Banking or Credit Card.

Security Deposit -

1. Choice locking of seats in Government Dental Colleges alone – Rs.30000

2. Choice locking of seats in Government Dental Colleges and Government Quota seats in Self Financing Dental Colleges – Rs.100000

The candidates should do the choice filling carefully. Selection of candidates for the MDS course shall be made by online counselling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation/200 Point Roster method whichever is applicable.

Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned Dental College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission and liable for criminal action if suppression of facts and/or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

If the candidates are allotted a seat in Government Dental College, they can download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Dental College on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the allotment order.

If the candidates are allotted a Government Quota seat in Self Financing Dental College, they should pay the tuition fee as fixed by the Fee Committee, download the provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Dental College on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the allotment order.

The candidates should produce the following original certificates in person at the time of joining in their selected Dental Colleges along with the scanned copy of the original certificates to the concerned Dental Colleges –

1. NEET MDS 2022 Score Card.

2. NEET MDS 2022 Admit Card.

3. BDS Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate.

4. CRRI Completion Certificate.

5. Permanent Dental Registration Certificate issued by the Dental Council of India /State Dental Council or provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Dental Council of India/State Dental Council.

6. Community Certificate (if applicable).

7. TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order for service candidates.

8. Nativity Certificate/Residence Certificate from the Competent Revenue Authority (Whichever is applicable) with supportive documents as mentioned in the prospectus.

9. Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.

10. Post Card size color photograph (4"x6") the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET MDS 2022.
