NEET MDS Counselling 2024: Health Ministry reduces Qualifying percentile, MCC Releases Special Stray Vacancy Round schedule, details
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the AIQ and State schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of the NEET MDS counselling 2024 for All India Quota/Deemed/Central/State Quota after the reduction in qualifying percentile.
The MCC notice states, "As per Letter No. V.12025/84/2024-DE dated 17.09.2024, the qualifying percentile for MDS Courses for NEET MDS Counselling 2024 has been reduced by 21.692 across all categories by MoHFW."
In this regard, the fresh schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round is as follows:

For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling, all participating institutes/colleges are directed to treat all Saturdays/ Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days.
The special stray vacancy round for state counselling will begin from October 15 and will end on October 18th.
The last date of joining is October 25th.
"Candidates already holding a seat/ joined through AIQ or State counselling including private/Deemed quota seats are not eligible to participate in Special Stray Vacancy Round of MCC," the notice added.
