NTRUHS notifies on web options for NEET MDS Stray Vacancy Round Counselling, details

Andhra Pradesh- The Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr NTRUHS) has issued a notification regarding the PG (Dental) Stray Vacancy Round Counselling (Web-options) for Competent Authority Quota seats and Management quota seats after lowering of cut-off score for the academic year 2025-26.

As per the notification, the exercise of web options for the Stray vacancy Counselling has already started from 29th August 2025, 07:00 PM and will continue till 01 September 2025, up to 07:00 PM.

SECURITY DEPOSIT AMOUNT

To prevent seat blocking and ensure that valuable seats are effectively utilised during the Stray Vacancy Round, the Competent Authority has decided to collect a refundable security deposit of ₹50,000/- and ₹3,00,000/- through online payment. This applies to candidates who are in the Merit List under the Competent Authority Quota and Management Quota and intend to participate in the Stray Vacancy round of counselling, subject to the following conditions

WEB OPTIONS

Eligible candidates will have to exercise fresh web options for the Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates participating in the Stray Vacancy Round will have to furnish an undertaking with respect to the allotment of seats at the time of exercising web options.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

1 The candidates who are not holding a seat in Phase-I, Phase-II and Phase-III of counselling (AIQ, State, Deemed) can participate in the Stray Vacancy Round.

2 The candidates who have been allotted, but not joined in Phase 1, Phase 2 of the State Quota and All India Quota are eligible to participate in this counselling.

3 A Candidate who has not registered and no choice locked in the Phase 1 or Phase 2 or Phase 3(Mop up) online counselling will be permitted to attend the Stray Round of online counselling.

NOT ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

1 The candidates who are holding MDS seat in Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 (Mop Up) of State Counselling (CQ & MQ) are not eligible to participate in the Stray round of counselling.

2 The candidate who is holding a seat allotted in Round 1 & Round 2 and Round 3 in All India Quota/Deemed universities(conducted by MCC/DGHS).

3 A candidate allotted a seat in Phase 3 (Mop up) of State counselling ( CQ & MQ) and not join the seat cannot participate in further rounds of State Counselling of both CQ & MQ.

4 The candidates who have been allotted in the Stray round of All India Quota/Deemed universities (conducted by MCC/DGHS) are not eligible to participate in the State Stray Round of counselling, regardless of whether they applied or chose options in that round. Such names will be deleted before processing allotments for the Stray Vacancy round.

5 The Candidates who have been allotted seats in the CQ Stray Round will not be eligible for the MQ Stray Round, regardless of whether they applied or chose options in that round. Such names will be deleted before processing allotments for the Stray Vacancy round.
