DME Gujarat Issues Notice on document Verification For PwD NEET Candidates, details
Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has issued a notification about the verification of documents for PwD NEET candidates of graduate-level Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy courses (MBBS, BDS and AYUSH). The list of candidates who need to report has also been released.
The students who have been declared ineligible by the Medical Board i.e. Not Eligible for Medical Course (Not Eligible for Medical Course) or students who are not eligible for medical admission in the PwD category (Eligible for Medical Course, Not Eligible for PwD Quota), the order of the Appellate Medical Board is held on and at the following date and place. Hence all the students who are willing to appear before the Appeal Medical Board have to appear on the date and place mentioned below. Students must submit their original disability certificate.
As per the notice, for graduate-level Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy courses for the academic year 2023-24 under the PwD category for admission and who have been examined in Medical Board held between 26/07/2023 and 27/07/2023, their medical board result has been declared today.

01/08/2023 - D-4, Conference Hall, 1st Floor, Civil Hospital, Asarwa, Ahmedabad - 09.30 am
The list of candidates who need to report has also been released. A total of 89 PwD candidates need to report on 01/08/2023. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
A total of 2 rounds are conducted, along with a mop-up round. A stay vacancy round will be conducted if needed only when all the seats available are not filled up till the mop-up round. The candidates must fill in their choices based on their college preferences during the counseling process. The seats are allocated based on the NEET UG scorecard, choices filled, reservation criteria, and seats available.
