DME Tamil Nadu Informs About Refund Process For PG Degree, Diploma, DNB, MDS Courses
The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) has informed the candidates about the refund process for Post Graduate Degree/Diploma /DNB & MDS courses 2022-2023.
The revised list of eligible candidates for refund is uploaded on the official website. The refund portal will remain open till 30.1.2023 up to 5.00 pm. The candidates have to log in through their original login ID (used at the time of application), and those eligible for a refund will only be able to log in.
The candidates must enter details, including Name, Bank Account No., IFSC Code Name of the Bank etc., in the appropriate column. If the candidates accept the indicated refund amount, they must click on the check box confirming their acceptance. Any change in a claim later will not be entertained. If the candidates disagree with the refund amount, they must click the not correct box and enter the relevant information in the remark column.
DME has clearly stated that application fees & processing fees are non-refundable as per the prospectus. Candidates who discontinued/did not join the allotted course during or after Round II of PG allotment has forfeited their tuition fee and a security deposit as per the prospectus. Hence, they are not eligible for a refund.
For candidates who have joined the course, their fees will be transferred to the respective institutions. ) For admitted candidates who have moved from one category to another, the fee difference only, if any, will be refunded to the individual candidates.
