Faridkot: Through a recent notice, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), has informed about the Tentative distribution of seats for Post MBBS, DNB Seats at the State Government Hospitals and Institutions in Punjab for Session 2021.

As per the data provided by the University, there are a total of 40 seats available for students to get admitted to Post MBBS DNB, Post Diploma DNB, and Post MBBS Diploma courses. Among these, for Post MBBS DNB Seats there are 16 seats available, whereas for Post Diploma DNB and Post MBBS Diploma, there are 12 seats available for each of these courses.

These courses are available at 7 Institutes in Punjab including- Guru Gobind Singh Medical college & Hospital (Faridkot), Institute of Mental Health (Govt. Mental Health Hospital, Amritsar), JBMM District Hospital Ram Bagh Phatak (Nandari Cinema Chowk, Amritsar), Lord Mahavir Civil Hospital (Old jail Road, Ludhiana), Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh District Hospital (Opp. Police Line, Mansa Road, Bathinda), Mata Kaushalya Govt. Hospital (Near Court Complex Lahori Gate, Patiala), SBLS Civil Hospital (Jail Road, Near Jyoti Chowk, Jalandhar).

Specialty-wise distribution of seats at these institutes are as follows:

Post MBBS DNB Seats:

There are a total of 16 Post MBBS DNB Seats in Punjab. Among them, specialty-wise there are 2 seats for Radio-diagnosis(Guru Gobind Singh Medical college & Hospital), 2 for Psychiatry(Institute of Mental Health), 1 for Paediatrics (JBMM District Hospital), 5 seats for Obstetrics and Gynaecology (2 seats at Lord Mahavir Civil Hospital, 1 seat at Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh District Hospital, 2 seats at Mata Kaushalya Govt. Hospital), 2 seats for Anaesthesia(SBLS Civil Hospital), 2 for General Medicine(SBLS Civil Hospital), and there are 2 seats for General Surgery(SBLS Civil Hospital).
