DNB Post MBBS, Diploma Admissions 2021: NBE releases eligibility criteria, admission process, other details for Sponsored seats

New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has informed about the conduct of the centralized Merit-based online counselling for admission to Sponsored DNB seats in Post MBBS and Post Diploma courses.

With this, the Natboard has released the eligibility criteria that the candidates are required to fulfil and the deadline for submitting their NOC to the concerned authorities.

According to the notification released on the official website of NBE, the eligibility criteria for Post MBBS, Diploma DNB Admissions 2021 to in-service candidates is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS) seats:

I. Candidates who are working in a Government (State/Central/Autonomous/PSUs, etc.) organization on a regular basis are eligible for Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS) seats.

AND

II. Candidates must be in possession of MBBS degree/Provisional Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess permanent/provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.

AND

III. Must have "Qualified" NEET PG 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for Sponsored DNB (Post Diploma) Seats:

i. Candidates who are working in a Government (State/Central/Autonomous/PSUs, etc.) organization on a regular basis are eligible for Sponsored DNB (Post Diploma) seats.

AND

ii. Candidates who have passed the final examination leading to the award of Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Universities which are duly recognized as per provisions of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Govt. of India i.e. have passed final examinations for Postgraduate diploma on or before 31st July 2021.

AND

iii. Candidate must have "Appeared" in DNB-PDCET 2021.

All such candidates who fulfil the aforesaid eligibility criteria and are desirous for opting for the sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) seat are required to submit his/her request to their parent organization. The Cadre Controlling Authority should issue a NOC in favour of candidates and submit it to NBE.

Deadline for submitting NOC:

The duly filled and signed NOC should be submitted at counseling.cc@natboard.edu.in latest by 30th November 2021.

Admission Process:

NBEMS is conducting centralised merit-based Counseling on An India Basis. Candidate/s can opt for the Sponsored DNB seat either in the NBEMS accredited Government hospital or in NBEMS accredited Private hospitals.

Candidates can opt for the Sponsored DNB seat in their State wherein he/she is serving or in the other States/UTs of India.

The list of Sponsored DNB seats (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) for the 2021 admission session shall be available at the NBEMS website before conducting the Centralized Merit Based online counselling for admission to Sponsored DNB seats (Post MBBS and Post Diploma), reads the notification.

Centralized Merit Based online counselling for Sponsored DNB seats shall be conducted thereafter. The detailed schedule of online counselling shall be notified in due course.

Study leave:

Study leave shall be granted to the candidate as required under Rule 50 of Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1972 or any other applicable Rule and also shall relieve the candidate in case of his / her selection to the sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) Seats, for joining the DNB training.

Remuneration:

The candidate shall continue to get the salary and necessary allowances as per rules, from the parent department (Sponsoring Government organization) for the entire period of DNB training.
