New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced that it has decided to increase the number of examination centrescentres to conduct DNB Practical Exam, December 2019 session in the light of ongoing COVID 19 outbreak.
This step is about to be taken in order to reduce the number of candidates allotted at each centre and minimise the travelling requirements for candidates.
All DNB applicants of DNB Practical Exam, December 2019 session are hereby notified:
With a view to minimizing travel requirements AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, due to the continuing Covid-19 Pandemic situation, NBE has decided to increase the number of practical examinations centres thereby also reducing the number of candidates allotted at each centre.
The list of practical examination centers shall be issued shortly.
Candidates are also informed that all the three components of the practical examination as specified in the notice dated 12.6.2020, namely OSCE, VivaVoce and Clinical Examination may be completed on the same day AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, the notice added
Detailed instructions in this regard shall be issued to the various examination centres in due course.

Earlier, the NBE had declared information on how it is going to conduct DNB Practical Exam, December 2019 session amid COVID 19 pandemic.
The exam authority had particularly declared that it is going to conduct DNB Final Practical Examination of December 2019 session in phases. In the first phase, it has given a New Revised Format for DNB candidates in all those specialities which are feeder qualifications for the NEET SS Examination and Fellowship Entrance Test.
NBE had also laid down a new revised scheme of examination for DNB Final Practical Examination that shall be followed in the major clinical specialities as mentioned in the accompanying Annexure.
