Maharashtra: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has issued details related to the university winter examination 2022, written examination phase 3 regarding the central assessment (CAP) program of first year MBBS (2019).

As per the notice, the 1st Year MBBS (2019) exams (Biochemistry 1 and Biochemistry 2) were conducted on 31.1.2022 and 2.2.2022. In both exams, there was some fault found in the question paper. Now MUHS has issued details related to both exams.

To give benefit the students for Question No. 3 (a) from Biochemistry-I is as follows -

1. No Benefit will be given to the students who have not attempted Q.3(a)

2. Benefit of 50% marks of the total marks of Q.3 (a), i.e., 2.5 marks will be given to the students who have attempted it and have attempted less than 9 questions in Q. No. 3

3. Those who have attempted all 9 questions in Q.3 of Paper-I, the Best of 8, will be considered.

MCQ — which of the following is an inhibitor of complex IV of the ETC – 1 mark will be given to all students irrespective of attempt.

To give benefit to the students for Question No. 4 (b) from Biochemistry-11 is as follows - The Theory paper assessor will be intimated to exclude (no assessment) sub-questions V and VI of Q4 (b), i.e., 10 marks should be distributed for the assessment of sub-question no. I to IV of Q4 (b).

MUHS has requested to re-evaluate both papers, keeping the above in mind.

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) is a higher education institution in Nashik, Maharashtra. The university was established on June 3, 1998, by the Government of Maharashtra through an ordinance. The State Legislature passed the ordinance, and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences was declared open by the governor of Maharashtra on June 10, 1998. All colleges and institutions in health science education in Maharashtra have been affiliated with this new university under Section 6(3) of the Act.

The university was established to ensure proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training, and research in modern medicine and Indian systems of medicine. MUHS offers undergraduate and postgraduate studies, including Ph.D. in all branches of health sciences.
