FMGE June 2024 question paper on sale! NBE warns against social media groups befooling aspirants

New Delhi-  After the Kerala police registered a case on FMGE question paper sale, the NBE has issued a caution for aspirants not to get tempted or misled by such unscrupulous elements.

Through a recent notice, the National Board of Medical Examinations (NBEMS) said that , it has come to the notice of the NBEMS that certain persons are fraudulently trying to deceive the candidates of the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) for June 2024 through social media platforms, Such fraudsters on such social media platforms are claiming to provide FMGE questions for the upcoming FMGE JUNE-2024 in exchange for a considerable amount of money. However, the question paper for FMGE June 2024 is still being prepared, the notice said.

Medical Dialogues recently reported that amid the ongoing controversy over alleged irregularities in NEET this year including the paper leak, another fraud has come to light wherein an announcement was made on social media that the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) question paper and answer key were for sale.

The Kerala Cyber Police have registered a case in the matter and the investigation is on.

The advertisement in question which went viral on social media platform X, read "FMGE Question: You'll receive 200 questions 32 hours before the exam; You'll also get correct answer with the question; Every Question will appear in the exam." It adds- " Fee Structure for FMGE retest- Invigilator 145,000 INR- Fees after exam 50,000 INR- Fees after Result 125,000 INR."

On this, through the notice, NBE has also informed that a police complaint has been filed in Kerala against such fraudsters who are trying to fool FMGE aspirants. With this, NBE has strictly advised all the aspirants to be cautioned of such fraudsters who are befooling FMGE aspirants by claiming to have questions of upcoming FMGE JUNE-2024 accessed through “the authority” and also not to be allured or misled by such unscrupulous elements.

It is further advised that direct or indirect indulgence of any FMGE aspirant in any of such activities shall be appropriately dealt with by NBEMS.

NBEMS is going to conduct the FMGE June 2024 tomorrow i.e. on 6th July 2024 where Part-I of the exam will start from 9 AM to 11:30 AM and Part II from 2 PM to 4:30 PM on a computer-based platform at 71 exam centres in 50 exam cities across the country.

Candidates are required to bring 2 documents on the day of the FMGE June 2024 exam and anyone who fails to show the documents will not be allowed inside the exam centre. The documents are as follows-

1 Print out of admit card issued by NBEMS.

2 Government-issued photo identification proof in original & in hard copy

Apart from this, candidates are not allowed to take anything inside the examination centre under any circumstances.
