ICMR NIP invites applications for MSc Dissertation Programme 2022-2023, Last date of apply 30th November, Check out details

New Delhi : Applications are invited by ICMR for dissertation training up to 6 months for students who are pursuing post graduate studies (all branches of Life Sciences including Bioinformatics) in Universities/Institutes for whom training is a part of their degree programme (i.e. mandatory).

 Students enrolled in different Master's degree programs at any recognized University can apply.

All applications should be submitted to the Director, ICMR-National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi-110029 with full bio-data and a recommendation from the Principal/Head of the Department/University.

The eligible candidates after initial screening and personal discussion at ICMR-NIOP, New Delhi will be provided laboratory placement, subject to the availability of position in each laboratory.

The last date of application for six-month training is 30 Nov 2022.

The session will start from 02 January, 2022(Monday). The desired applicants are required to fill the online Google form on or before 30th November, 2022 up to 05.00 p.m.

 In view of large number of applications being received, selection is on the basis of merit and personal discussion. All the students who have applied through proper channel will be intimated by mail and information will also be available at the Institute's web site.

 Trainings period is from January 2022 to June 2022. Reservation will be provided as per rules laid by Government of India. The decision of the Training Committee and the Director of the Institute shall be final and no communication in this regard shall be entertained.

 Work done during training shall be treated as Institute's Research. The candidate carrying out the training and their parent institution does not have any right to use the generated data in for any objective other than the dissertation report of the candidate.

Please note that applications sent by hard copies or by emails to individual scientists/Director will not be considered.

 Course Fee, Laboratory & Other Facilities A one-time course fee of Rs.20,000.00 (for six months training) in the form of a Demand Draft favouring "Director, National Institute of Pathology" payable at 'New Delhi' is to be paid after receiving the permission letter for induction into the program.

General Guidelines

At present, there is no housing facility at ICMR-NIOP to host the students. Selected students have to make their own arrangements for accommodation. No TA/DA will be paid to the short-listed candidates for attending personal discussions at ICMR-NIOP. No stipend of any nature will be paid to students inducted in the MSc. Dissertation program at ICMR-NIOP.
