ICMR, PGIMER To Conduct Online Exam For Junior Research Fellowship, Apply by August 25
Chandigarh: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in collaboration with the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) will conduct a national level Computer Based test (CBT) for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for the year 2022.
As per the notice, the CBT will be conducted for the Life sciences/Social sciences stream on 23rd September 2022 in 20 cities across the country. The candidates can fill out the application form by 25th August 2022. The candidates note that only online applications will be accepted, and no other mode of submission of application will be excepted.
All candidates should fill out the application form carefully. In the event of rejection of the application form, no correspondence/request for reconsideration will be entertained. They should download and take a print of the application form and retain a copy of the application form till the award of the fellowship.
Information bulletin/brochure, online application form and other details will be available at both PGIMER Website http://pgimer.edu.in and ICMR, New Delhi website www.icmr.nic.in. It will be published on 26th July 2022.
ICMR JRF examination is the first step in the process of admission to the PhD/ Research Program through the council's support. The award of JRF is made on a merit basis by holding an entrance examination. The award of Junior Research Fellowship to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding placement in a medical college/hospital/university/national laboratory/institution of higher learning and research as applicable.
