MBBS, BDS Admission in Madhya Pradesh Medical Colleges, Check out the Fee Structure for this year
Bhopal: The Medical Education Department of Madhya Pradesh has recently released the fees structure for MBBS and BDS courses in the Government and Dental institutes in the State.
As per the data provided by DME, Madhya Pradesh, while MBBS and BDS fees in the Government institutes is Rs 1 lakh only, the MBBS fees in Private Institutes can range from Rs 8.5 lakh to Rs 14 lakh and the BDS fees range from Rs 190,000 to Rs 253,000.
Fees for the NRI quota seats are even more as it ranges from Rs 2,200,000 to 4,168,800 (MBBS) and Rs 540,000 to Rs 664,500 (BDS).
Fees in Government Medical & Dental Colleges:
There are a total number of 13 Government medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh including Gandhi Medical College Bhopal, Gajaraja Medical College Gwallior, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College Indore, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College Jabalpur, Shyam Shah Medical College Rewa, Bundelkhand Medical College Sagar, Government Medical College Datia, GMC Vidisha, GMC Ratlam, GMC Khandwa, GMC Schedhol, Chhindwara Institute of Medical Sciences, and GMC Shivpuri. Apart from these, there is one Government Dental College Govt Dental College Indore.
In all these institutes, the annual tuition fees for MBBS and BDS courses are Rs 1,00,000. Further, the colleges need to pay Rs 14,000 as one time caution money. So the total fee that the students need to pay for pursuing MBBS BDS courses in these institutes is Rs 114,000. This is applicable for candidates who are not eligible for any scholarship.

There are four scholarship schemes including Medhavi Yojna, Jankalyan Yojna, Reserve Category (OBC) Concession under Post Metric Scholarship Scheme, Reserve Category (ST) Concession under Post Metric Scholarship Scheme, and Reserve Category (SC) Concession under Post Metric Scholarship Scheme.
Students eligible for these scholarship programs need to pay only Rs 14,000 for pursuing MBBS/BDS courses in MP Government Medical and Dental Colleges as they get a scholarship amount of Rs 1 lakh.
Fees in Private Medical & Dental Colleges:
Medical Colleges:
As per the data provided by DME, there are 10 Private medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh offering MBBS courses to students. The total fees (including caution money of Rs 25,000)
in these medical colleges, for students who are not eligible for any scholarship is given below.

R D Gardi Medical College Ujjain- Rs 858,000
Index Medical College Indore- Rs 1,365,400

Chirayu Medical College Bhopal- Rs 1,166,000
Amaltas Medical College- Rs 1,086,000
Mahaveer Institute of Medical Sciences and Research- Rs 858,000
R K D F Medical College and Research Centre Bhopal- Rs 1,230,000
Sukh Sagar Medical College and Hospital Jabalpur- Rs 858,000
In all these private medical colleges, the students who become eligible for the scholarship schemes mentioned before, pay only Rs 25,000 for pursuing medical courses.

The total fee in the Private Dental Colleges in the State is given below.

Maharana Pratap Dental College Gwalior- Rs 190,000
Hitkarni Dental College and Hospital Jabalpur- Rs 231,500
Institute of Dental Education and Advance Studies Gwalior- Rs 210,000
Guru Govind Singh College of Dental Science Burhanpur- Rs 197,000
Peoples Dental Academy Bhopal- Rs 210,000
The students who are eligible for Reserve Category (OBC) concession under Post Metric Scholarship Scheme get a scholarship amount of Rs 1 lakh. Further in all the colleges except for R K D F Dental College, the students eligible for ST and SC concession pay only Rs 10,000 for pursuing their dental education.
