Kolkata: Unidentified men allegedly raped a MBBS student in West Bengal's Paschim Bardhaman district. The medico is a second year MBBS student at a private medical college and is currently ungoing treatment.
The incident took place nearly a year later, after a 26-year-old postgraduate trainee was raped and murdered inside Kolkata's famous RG Kar Medical College.
Speaking to PTI, police officials informed, "A medical college student from Odisha was allegedly raped by unidentified men in West Bengal's Paschim Bardhaman district... The medical student, from Jaleswar in Odisha, is undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital."
