New Delhi- Through a recent notice, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has informed that the security deposit for super speciality counselling has been refunded to the concerned candidates.

As per the notice, “It is for the information of all the candidates participated in SS Counselling 2023 that as per the eligibility conditions mentioned in the SS Information Bulletin for Security deposit refund, the refund of security deposit has been done on 29.03.2024”.

Further, the notice informed that “Refunds have been sent to the same account from where the security deposit was remitted to MCC. The refund will be credited to the candidate's account between 1 to 15 days depending upon the level of automation in the candidate's bank”.

For any refund-related queries, candidates are advised to reach out through the MCC Financial official website as queries sent directly to MCC regarding refunds or payments will not be entertained, the notice added.

NEET SS 2023 was conducted by the competent authority to fill the remaining vacant D.M, M.Ch and DNB SS seats after Round 2 of SS Counseling 2023 of AIQ. This step has been taken to prevent the wastage of previous medical seats.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an organisation under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate and super-speciality medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges.
