28 seats in 11 specialities, NBE Releases Centralised Merit-Based Counseling Schedule for FNB FPIS courses for International Students 2023 session
New Delhi- The National Board of Medical Examinations (NBEMS) has released the schedule for offline centralised merit-based counselling for international students- FNB Fellowship Programme for International Students (FPIS) courses for the 2023 admission session.
The Centralised Merit Based Counseling for admission to FNB (FPIS) courses for the 2023 Admission Session will be conducted by NBEMS via offline mode. Participation in the offline Counseling will be strictly followed as per the eligibility criteria for the FNB- FPIS 2023 Admission Session.
The schedule for the Counseling are as follows-

6 | Physical Joining at the allotted hospital. | 03-07-2024 to 12-07-2024 (1700 hrs). |
In addition, the Candidates are required to pay the Counseling registration fee of Rs. 2500/- to register for the counselling. Payment gateway charges, if any, shall be borne by the candidate. The registration fee for counselling will not be refunded under any circumstances once the candidate has been registered for Counseling. The registration fee shall be deposited in the account details mentioned in the notice.
Thereafter, the candidates are required to submit the following self-certified scanned copies of documents through email-
a MBBS/ Primary Medical Qualification Degree Certificate.
b Degree Certificate of postgraduate medical qualification equivalent to the eligible feeder issued on or before 31st December 2023.
c Post Graduate Medical Qualification Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of the respective country.
d No Objection Certificate issued by the Medical Council/ Government of the respective country for permission to work in India for the period of Fellowship.
e Temporary Registration with the National Medical Commission, New Delhi, India for the duration of the FNB course is to be submitted after seat allotment.
f Valid travel document (Passport) and valid permission (visa).
g Copy of receipt towards payment of Counseling fees.
h Declaration and Certification by the Candidate (cum Choice of Preferences) for opting for a seat - FET-2023-FPIS – 2023 Admission session(Click here for the format of the certificate for submitting the Choices of Preferences).
With this, the verification of documents will be done by NBEMS from 02 to 03 July 2024. Moreover, to participate in the counselling candidates need to follow certain steps which need to be completed-
1 Payment of registration fee for offline counselling.
2 Submission of prescribed documents.
3 Submission of Choices.
The seat allocation will be done in order of merit cum choice/ preference of seats indicated by the candidate during the registration/choice submission process and the provisional seat allotment result of the eligible candidates will be published on the NBEMS website.
To join the allotted seat, the candidate is required to pay the First-year course fee, which is nonrefundable within the stipulated time. After the payment of the First-year course fee, the seat allotted to him/her will be frozen in his/her favour. The details regarding the submission of the annual course fee will be communicated to the candidate in the seat allotment letter issued by NBEMS.
Along with this, NBE has also released an indicative seat matrix for FET-FPIS 2023. As per the seat matrix, there are a total of 28 vacant seats in 11 specialities.

Also, the candidates are required to submit the duly signed undertaking for an Indemnity Bond of Rs. 5,00,000/- before joining the Fellowship Programme.
