45 seats Vacant for PG Medical Admissions: CENTAC

Puducherry: Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released the seat matrix and details related to PG Medical courses.

The Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) is the counselling authority of PG Medical Admission to provide admission to the applicants in MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. Candidates who passed with qualified marks in NEET PG are only eligible to apply.

A total of 45 seats are left vacant for PG Medical courses. Clinical has 2 seats, and non-clinical has 43 seats.

1. MD Radiodiagnosis – 1

2. MS Orthopaedics – 1

Non-clinical

1. MD Anatomy - 10

2. MD Biochemistry - 7

3. MD Microbiology - 8

4. MD Pathology - 2

5. MD Pharmacology - 6

6. MD Physiology – 10

CENTAC has asked the interested candidates to submit their willingness to participate in the counselling process today by 3:00 pm. They can submit by using their dashboard login credentials.

Candidates can do the registration and submit applications through the CENTAC portal www.centacpuduchery.in till 1st May 2022, 6:00 pm. The fresh application process started yesterday (29th April 2022). The new candidates will be considered only after exhausting the list of existing applied candidates. Already applied candidates need not apply once again.

Candidates note that those who have already joined will not be considered.

Recently Mop-Up round was conducted in hybrid mode (online and offline modes). It was held in sessions. In the first session, reservations were allowed for Government Quota seats. After that, unfilled reserved seats were converted into unreserved seats and offered as per merit.

CENTAC is a common admission portal to Puducherry colleges and is established by the Government of Puducherry. Under this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and those who have appeared in such qualifying examinations are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella.
