6 MCh, DrNB seats removed from Round 2 MCC NEET SS Counselling 2024, details
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has removed seats from the seat matrix of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Super Speciality (NEET SS) round 2 Counselling 2024 for admission into the DM, MCh and DrNB courses.
As per the notice issued by the MCC in this regard, the authority of DGHS has received information from 3 Institutes/ NMC to remove a total of 6 seats from the seat matrix of NEET SS round 2 Counselling.
These 3 institutes are Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, Asian Heart Institute, G/N Block, Mumbai and HOD Neuro Surgery Lok Nayak Hospital, Associated Maulana Azad Medical College.
2 seats have been removed from each medical college, i.e. M.Ch Neurosurgery (NSGY) at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad and Lok Nayak Hospital, Associated Maulana Azad Medical College and Dr.NB (Super Speciality) Cardiac Anaesthesia (DGUS) from the Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai.

Medical Dialogues has reported that MCC released the clear vacancy, newly added seats and virtual vacancy for the NEET SS round 2 Counselling for the academic year 2025 for admission into the DM, MCh and Dr DNB. The seat matrix has been released in a PDF format on the official website of MCC. The seat matrix contains important information such as state name, Institute, Quota, branch, category and total seats. As per the vacancies, a total of 1832 seats are clearly vacant, and 4223 seats are virtually vacant for the SS Counselling 2025 DM, MCh and DrDNB SS round 2.
